IT’S HAPPENING: Yep. You heard us. Vegan competitive eating is now a thing.
As part of @MrHyde’s #nationalwingsday on Thursday 22nd March not only will we be doing 50% off all wingz, we’re putting on a wingz party at the Haunt featuring the UK (maybe world’s?) FIRST vegan wings eating comp at @hauntlondon.
...will have to chomp through a bucket of TEN of our crispy fried jackfruit wingz, slathered in special hot chipotle sauce.
And as for the victor? Well they’ll get Jack Shack tees and swag for them and their crew, food for two at the Haunt, our coveted GOLDEN BUCKET and a place in vegan history.

From Thursday 2nd November, Biff’s Jack Shack will taking over the kitchen at the Haunt, Stoke Newington, unleashing their first “vegan AF” dinner menu six nights a week, as well as indulgent take on brunch.
Following an explosive summer on the London street food scene, where our innovative crispy fried jackfruit and vegan junk food has garnered national press, half a million views on UniLAD and a slot at KERB’s sold out ‘Livin’ on the Veg’, Biff’s Jack Shack are taking residency this winter at all-vegan bar and eatery, Haunt London.
Diners can get Shack classics such as the Bangin’ Jackfruit Wingz, drizzled in vegan blue cheese and buffalo hot sauce (as recommended by The Guardian and Waitrose magazine), and the Samuel Hell Jackson burger (voted one of Time Out London’s best veggie comfort food dishes) as well as a bunch of new and filthier than ever dishes (including some GF options).
The New Jack City:
The Shack’s biggest burger ever, inspired by the great sandwiches of the Big Apple’s all night diners: a signature crispy jackfruit patty, loaded with peppered smoky seitan, smoked gouda cheese, sweet pickles, sauerkraut and Russian sauce on our famous toasted brioche.
The ultimate vegan katsu in burger form: a panko-fried jackfruit cutlet, slathered in katsu sauce, with crisp lettuce, tangy Japanese pickles and a tempura broccoli floret in vegan brioche.
Vegan hush puppies with whipped maple ‘butter’
The American classic is brought to Stokey: deep fried crispy cornbread bits studded with sweetcorn and spring onion, served with a sweet-salty whipped maple butter. Indulgence to the extreme.
The Lumber Jack breakfast burger
Cutting down even the nastiest of hangovers, this ‘vegan breakfast in a bun’ loads crispy bacun, a hash brown and spinach on top of the signature jackin’ patty, all in a toasted brioche bun, with a choice of red or brown sauce. We serve it with a side of home made bourbon bbq baked beans for the ultimate hair-of-the-dog dip.
Vegan pancake stack (Gluten free)
Fat and fluffy AF buckwheat, coconut oil and vanilla pancakes, topped with coconut yoghurt, toasted cashews, banana, lashings of maple syrup and dark chocolate shavings.

We are excited to be kicking things off at the Haunt from Thursday 2th November (kitchen open 6pm-10pm) with brunch service taking place weekends midday-3pm from Saturday 4th November. Reservations are being taken by the Haunt NOW at hauntlondon.com
